ldap can not start...

Hi everybody....

I'm pretty new on all related to ldap, so excuse my iliteracy that my questions may reveal.

I'm running Red Hat 9, I downloaded the Berkeley DB, installed it, after downloaded ldap, configured, installed and tested it, It found the database properly and was find, but when I try to run slapd, it says it does not find the database anymore...

I changed copied the database to the place where it seems to me the slapd looks for it, and did not complain on database, but there are a couple of environment vars it looks for and I don't know what their content should be ...

Any ideas or hints ??

Thanks in advance !!

Andrew
