Re: partial replication

Hi Jong,

This will be cool. Is there any sample setup you can draw so I can try it out right away? By the way, in what version of OpenLdap is this supported?

Regards,

It is possible to perform sparse replication with the new LDAP Sync replication engine,
because you can use general search specification in the replication specification.
I'll make a section of the Admin Guide dedicated for the LDAP Sync replication available soon.

Hi,

Suppose I have a very simple tree structure using the DC components, say I have 100,000 user under dc=mycompany,dc=com. How can I setup replication such that all user with CN=A* replicate to server A, CN=B* to server B and so on? I know I can use DN suffix to control replication but for this setup, all users are under the same DN suffix.

Regards,
