You *might* be able to compile it and get it running under Cygwin on
windows..

IMJA (I am just assuming) that most likely openldap is probably very
unix/posix specific so it would need a posix compatible operating
system. And basically every operating system out there provides this
except for Windows.. well, except via cygwin.. Cygwin is the only posix
compatibility layer for Windows AFAIK.
