Octetstring jdbc-odbc bridge---baseDn problem

Hi:
Are there any limitation for doing search? It seems that I can't do the search from the root.
for example:
I can't do search from DC=myorg,DC=com 
com.octetstring.jdbcLdap.jndi.SQLNamingException: Unprocessed Continuation Refer
ence(s)

but it works when I do the search from child nodes, say, CN=users,DC=myorg,DC=com
