We're using a machine-assigned uid in the dn of our records: uid=ContactPerson_449,ou=People,dc=creme,dc=upfrontsystems,dc=co,dc=za We also want to allow users to choose a username for themselves. Is there an existing attribute we should use for this, eg. uniqueMember? Or should we declare a new attribute, eg. upfrontCoZaUid?
