Jean-Frederic,

Did you enable it in slapd.conf?

Yes, otherwise I would have got: +++ -bash-2.05b$ ldapsearch -h vtxclere -p 9386 -b "cn=Start,cn=Time,cn=Monitor" version: 2

#
# filter: (objectclass=*)
# requesting: ALL
#

# search result
search: 2
result: 32 No such object

# numResponses: 1
+++

Add:

 database	monitor

 and restart the slapd.

Subject: Monitoring slapd (2.2.0)

Hi,

I am trying to get cn=Monitor to return statistic informations, but it seems

that is no working:
+++
-bash-2.05b$ ldapsearch -h vtxclere  -p 9386 -b
"cn=Start,cn=Time,cn=Monitor"
version: 2

#
# filter: (objectclass=*)
# requesting: ALL
#

# Start, Time, Monitor
dn: cn=Start,cn=Time,cn=Monitor
objectClass: monitoredObject
cn: Start

# search result
search: 2
result: 0 Success

# numResponses: 2
# numEntries: 1
+++

What is the status of the monitor "database"?

Cheers

Jean-frederic
