RE: Opinion requested: LDAP Administration clients
I find that this browser is great, except it does not work properly with
groupOfNames objects.
9 times out of 10, if I click on one, it doesn't do anything. I can double
click, try refreshing etc etc but it still won't load the object.
I also use qmail-ldap, and it has troubles dealing with the qmailUser
object, but I haven't defined any templates for it...

This supports X.500 directories and LDAP Servers
Full schema support, SSL/TLS, LDAPv2/3 protocols, etc.

We are using davedap (http://davedap.sourceforge.net/) here. It's a
php-based
Webfrontend, easy to configure and intuitive to use (at least for me ;-) ).
Davedap supports LDAPv3 and SSL, we run it on a https-server to encrypt
complete communication between sysadmin and ldap-server.
