LDAP filter question

Good day,

I am trying to construct a filter that will allow me to query for objects
that have an attribute with exactly a set of values that I specify, and not
any more.

For example, I'd like something similar to:

(&(mail=mail1@example.com)(mail=mail2@example.com))

... except that I don't want any objects returned that have a mail attribute
with another value.

Is there some way that this can be done, other than by having an application
inspect the results?
