RE: Very Basic Question

Guys,

I have discovered the problem. It seems that the Red Hat guys, in their
infinite wisdom, have broken openldap into a several RPM's (including a
"sever" package). Now that I have all the ancillary RPM's installed I have a
working OpenLDAP instance. Thanks to everyone for all your help.

Who says that RPM's are easier?????? Tar balls work just fine.

Thanks,

Good day,

Please make sure your replies are sent or CCed to the list.

Perhaps you have not actually installed the openldap-servers package, and
only the "openldap" package?
