use either ldapadd or slapadd. to add ldif formatted data
- ldapadd works over the ldap api and requires a running
  slapd and proper authentication.
- slapadd directly works on the berkeley db files.

There are samples on how to do this in the respective manpages and
propably also in the faq.  Please read those first.
