This is currently not possible with OpenLDAP and
I doubt if that is possible with other LDAP servers.

OpenLDAP 2.1.x has an attribute that is unique for each entry.
It is called entryUUID

If you want to make another attribute unique, you need 
additional software that does these checks before adding
the new objects to the directory.
