Database backend is growing!

Hi there!

I'm wondering, why is database backend (berkeley db 4.1.25) growing so fast,
after adding and deleting some objects from LDAP directory (2.1.12). My
database was 70MB, then i exported it with slapcat, followed by import with
slapadd. New size was 11MB!

What is going on? Why is database backend size growing so fast at the normal
operation of the LDAP server?
