Logging with metalog?

Hi all

I'm a new OpenLDAP user, just struggling with the configuration
at the moment. So far, everything starts up fine, I can browse
and modify entries, but replication doesn't work yet, and:

I cannot manage to see anything logged. I've found references on
how to setup logging with syslogd, but I'm using metalog. I've
tried this in /etc/metalog/metalog.conf, but no luck:

OpenLDAP (slapd) :

  program = "/usr/lib/openldap/slapd"
  logdir  = "/var/log/openldap"

OpenLDAP (slurpd) :

  program = "/usr/lib/openldap/slurpd"
  logdir  = "/var/log/openldap"

Anyone have any luck?
