strange error!

	Hi all,
	I have an Debian Potato Linux server with  openldap-2.0.23 installed by .tar.gz.
	It works like a charm to store emails and names for use within Outlook clients.
	Today, I rebooted the server and when I try to call ldap again (/usr/local/libexec/slapd) 
it gives me the following error in /var/log/messages and wont start:

Jan  2 21:39:48 shades slapd[31320]: ldbm: ==> illegal flag specified to db_appinit
Jan  2 21:39:48 shades slapd[31320]: ldbm_initialize(): FATAL error (22) in db_appinit()

	Can anyone help me?
