Hi Tony!

I resolved the problem, a really silly one ;-) My bash seem to interpreted the 
"`" wrong. So now using the string like this:

ldapsearch -x -b "" -s base "(objectclass)" namingContexts


everything works fine.

Silly problems costs a lot of hours and pine!
