RE: Posix required



oh and i've tried upgrading both glibc and gcc via rpm just in case they
were buggered , i recently did a net install to rebuild my machine and
selected a custom install to tone down what gets installed , i have my
noticed most of my man pages and ssh gui consoles are corrupted and they
hang , everytime i use man i see funny characters and it hangs my console :|

Sounds like your system is still a bit buggered.  As for the
cause of this error, I suggest you examine the config.log file
produced by configure for hints.
