openldap without thread

hello,

how can I have in a single configure option: openldap witgout threads and 
making slurpd (because slurpd needs threads).
If I set the followinf configure options: --without-threads --enable-slurpd
this results in error: don't want to make slurpd because of no threads.

I think I have to do two successive build operations, one for slapd, one 
for slurpd. Is it true?
