kill on OpenBSD won't work

Hello,

Trying to stop OpenLDAP 2.0.27 on a OpenBSD 3.0 sparc installation doesn't
work, I have to do a kill -9 to stop the DB. I suppose that's not a good
solution, any other ideas ? Or is this maybe a bug ?
