Re: Active Directory as ldap backend



Actually, that's close, but not really what I need, for several reasons. First, the Active Directory server has ALOT of users in it, and I really do not want to duplicate that data. Second, at at least one site, the 'ldap' backend will, in fact, be openldap, instead of active directory.

So, what I really need is a way to add the authentication information to the uri (or some other field, perhaps) in the database ldap section of slapd.conf.
