Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to give the Horde package a shot;
we are currently running Outlook as an imap client to a Cyrus server, and if
I can find a suitable webmail package that has all the features we currently
implement (shared calendaring and folders, meeting scheduling) I would be
extrememly happy to get rid of Outlook.

I would suggest you take a look at turba in the horde/imp family of apps.
http://www.horde.org
Also has the best O.S. webmail app, a great shared calendar, memos,
tasks, bookmarks, comics and several other apps.  Extremely well
designed and developed framework.
