~~sigh~

Yesterday after I rebuilt the database, stat looked like this:

  File: "id2entry.gdbm"
Size: 904381 Blocks: 1776 IO Block: 4096 Regular File
Device: 807h/2055d Inode: 336710 Links: 1
Access: (0600/-rw-------) Uid: ( 55/ ldap) Gid: ( 55/ ldap)
Access: Wed Jul 10 10:48:03 2002
Modify: Wed Jul 10 10:48:03 2002
Change: Wed Jul 10 10:48:03 2002

Now it looks like this:

  File: "id2entry.gdbm"
Size: 9013775 Blocks: 17640 IO Block: 4096 Regular File
Device: 807h/2055d Inode: 336710 Links: 1
Access: (0600/-rw-------) Uid: ( 55/ ldap) Gid: ( 55/ ldap)
Access: Thu Jul 11 09:34:03 2002
Modify: Thu Jul 11 09:34:03 2002
Change: Thu Jul 11 09:34:03 2002

I have a particular field in a particular object which gets modified
frequently. It's a list of addresses for my badmailfrom list. When mail
arrives in a honeypot address on the ldap server, the sender gets added
immediately to this object and then my firewalls read from it.
