In all honesty, I don't know of a good, free tool to do this. You could look at gq (http://biot.com/gq/), which is a GUI LDAP browser with
a tree view, but the GUI is pretty basic and the user still has to understand terms like HOST and BASE.


I have set up a few web applications to do exactly this sort of thing using apache, php, mod_ssl and mod_auth_ldap. I am happy to set up such a system and adapt my code to your needs, but you would have to pay me (http://www.metaconsultancy.com) to do it.
