No objectClass "top" defined in schem

Hi I just installed openldap on my freebsd server, everything compiled
and installed perfectly (no errors) make test worked perfectly, but when
I cam to start it:

# /usr/local/libexec/slapd

No objectClass "top" defined in schema

Am I missing some file? Do I need to reference something? My net
searching has revealed other people asking the same question, but no
answer.
