So, what did RedHat Linux change to allow us to specify the location of
our Keytab file in an environment variable?

On RedHat Linux, I am able to add the following entry to
/etc/sysconfig/ldap to set the environment variable so slapd uses the
correct keytab file...

export KRB5_KTNAME="FILE:/etc/openldap/ldap.keytab"

Works great.
