RE: about server type



I don't think you can know what type of LDAP or X.500 DSA you are connecting
to unless you have the info at hand in the first place. Some DSAs hold their
details in the DIT. What you may be able to do is search the DIT admin for
this info if they provide public access (I doubt this would be true).
Otherwise I believe it is difficult to know unless you contact the
administrator of the server.

	Can I know the type of server that I'm contacting ( whether it is
