OpenLDAP administration

Hi,

I would like to know, what is the easiest way to add, modify or delete 
entries in a LDAP-directory. Do you write your ldif-files and call 
ldapadd, ldapmodify or ldapdelete? It seems to be very uncomfortable to 
do it that way.

I migrated a test-server to pam_ldap, but I'm confused how to add new 
users to my directory. Former I called just useradd. Now I have to write 
a ldif-file and call ldapadd. Are there any scripts, which do that?
