hi,
While
trying out distributed directory services, i gave my referral in server-A as
follows:
dn:o=odysseytec,c=sg
objectclass:referral
objectclass:extensibleObject o:odyssey ref:ldap://master.odysseytec.com/o=odyssey,c=in So, when contacting this server (A) for
o=odysseytec,c=sg, it correctly reffered to master.odysseytec.com. My problems
are:
1. I'm unable to add anything under c=sg to
server-A. It always asks me to refer to the master. ( even for entries that do
not have dn as o=odysseytec,c=in). What may be the problem?
2. So i thought i'll delete the referral. How do i
do it correctly?
3. Is there any way in which server-A, instead of
just telling the user to refer to the master, query the master by itself and get
the replies for the users?
Please guide me.
