group acl question

Is there a way that I can place a wildcard into the goupr= acl entry like:

access to attr=userPassword
  by  self write
  by  group="vdcGroup=administrators,ou=.*,o=vdc" write
  by  * compare 

unfortunatly this doesn't work, and I'd like the administrator of any ou=.* 
to be able to manage all passwords for all users.
