Re: cannot getting slapd to start

I've just noticed the same problem compiling on an E250 running SunOS
5.8.  Tests fail exactly as below, trying to start slapd by hand yields,

# ./slapd -d -1

        atristan@ae:/src/openldap-2.0.11/servers/slapd
daemon_init: <null>
daemon_init: listen on ldap:///

ldap_url_parse_ext(ldap:///)
daemon: getaddrinfo failed: invalid value for ai_flags
slapd stopped.
connections_destroy: nothing to destroy.

Not sure what ai_flags is (search of list archives revealed nothing).  I
suspect that it's IPv4 vs. IPv6 related (just a wild guess).  Anyone have
any suggestions?  This machine (unlike my other ldap servers) has a virtual
network interface, might that be related?
