RE: slapadd error : attribute description contains inappropriate char acters

well i changed the config file and removed the underscores but still get:

str2ad(org_employer): attribute description contains inappropriate
characters

I take it the problem now is in the LDIFF file that still uses org_employer
since i removed the underscores from the LDIFF file and it worked.

If so does this mean Control Data Solutions LDAP implementation is wrong
because it allows underscores?

Well looks like i get to add an extra process that cleans underscores from
the exported LDIFF from Control Data if there is no other way to fix this.

Thank again

greg

Quoting "King, John (Greg) (OAO-HOU)" <jking@houston.oao.com>:

Well, the error says it all... The '_' in the attribute is not allowed
(inappropriate characters)!
