Okay, we tried using ldap_set_option to turn on protocol 3 support.
get_option verifies that this is the case. But ldap_rename still
complains about protocol error.
Is there something special I have to do to slapd.conf or to the database
of entries itself? I'm using OpenLDAP 2.0.9.
