RE: error from ldapadd

Are you sure those attributes exist in the schema? Have you done a schema
search to find whether they actually exist in yor schema?

cheers,

Subject: error from ldapadd

I have a new schema. When I execute the
ldapadd -D "cn=Manger, o=ctil" -W -f /tmp/uma.5

I get the error:
ldap_add:undefined attribute type.
additional info:attibute type undefined

although I find all the attributes in my ldif file to be defined in the
schema file.

This is my schema file:

attributetype( 1.2.3.4 NAME 'collectiveHostname' )
               SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.26
	       EQUALITY caseExactMatch)

attributetype( 1.2.3.4 NAME ( 'collectivehardwareName' )
               SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.26
	       EQUALITY caseExactMatch)

attributetype( 1.2.3.4 NAME ( 'collectiveOSversion' )
               SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.26
	       EQUALITY caseExactMatch)

objectclass( 0.1.2.3 NAME 'collectiveHardwareInventory'
       SUP top
       STRUCTURAL
       MUST ( collectiveHostname $ collectivehardwareName $
collectiveOSversion ) )

This is my LDIF file:
dn: collectiveHostname=newbeach,ou=inventory,o=ctil
objectclass: collectiveserverHostName
collectivehardwareName: sparc
collectiveHostname: newbeach
collectiveOSversion: 2.5.1

Please help me.

Thank you,
Uma
