make test trouble

Hi!

I managed to compile openldap 2.0.7 with pthreads and openssl but I cannot
run the tests:

when I do  make test the test000-rootdse script hangs with Waiting 5
seconds for slapd to start...

slapd runs at that moment and also the ldapsearch utility runs. To get
some more output I started them by hand with -d -1 and the last messages I
get from  the slapd are:

connection_get(9)
connection_get(9): got connid=0
connection_read(9): checking for input on id=0
ber_get_next
ldap_read: want=1, got=1

ldap_read: want=1, got=1

ber_get_next: tag 0x30 len 12 contents:

ldap_pvt_thread_pool_submit failed (-1)
ber_get_next
ldap_read: want=1 error=Resource temporarily unavailable
ber_get_next on fd 9 failed errno=11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)
daemon: select: listen=6 active_threads=0 tvp=NULL

It looks like he gets the request but then nothing happens because
somethings is not available!?!

ldapsearch tells me:

lots off stuff...
ldap_chkResponseList for msgid=1, all=1
ldap_chkResponseList returns NULL
do_ldap_select

when I cancel ldapsearch slapd recognizes it but then has to be killed
with signal 9
