URL-encoded LDAP-URLs in referrals

HI!

It seems to me that OpenLDAP 2.0.4 does not unqoute LDAP-URLs in
referral entries with URL-quoted characters before extracting the
parameters (e.g. DN). Is that true?

I can see in my logs:

Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1801]: conn=86 op=0 BIND
dn="CN=ROOT,O=MICHAELS" method=128
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1801]: conn=86 op=0 RESULT tag=97
err=0 text=
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1656]: conn=86 op=1 SRCH
base="cn=Michael Ströder,ou=Tests,o=Michaels" sc
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1656]: conn=86 op=1 RESULT tag=101
err=9 text=Referral: ldap://localhost/c
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1633]: conn=18 fd=7 connection from
localhost (127.0.0.1) accepted.
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[2972]: conn=18 op=0 BIND dn=""
method=128
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[2972]: conn=18 op=0 RESULT err=0
tag=97 nentries=0
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[2973]: conn=18 op=1 SRCH
base="CN%3DMICHAEL%20STR%C3%B6DER%2COU%3DFRIENDS%
Sep 28 17:48:49 localhost slapd[1801]: conn=86 op=2 UNBIND

But according to RFC2255 URL-quoted LDAP URLs are valid.

Ciao, Michael.
