replication problem

I have setup my master slapd to write the replog files, when it starts it
accesses the replog file, but writes no changes there. The replog file
stays empty.

I have the following slapd.conf entry


replica host=wammo.e-caf.com:389
        binddn="cn=replicator,ou=people,o=ecafnet"
        bindmethod=simple credentials=password

replogfile /var/log/slapd.replog

I am running openldap 1.2.7, any ideas why it isn't writing updates to my
log file?
