I would give add the new LDAP Directory in the address book portion of Netscape,
it's fairly simple.
Communicator -> Address Book ->
Right Click in the directories panel, new Directory, put in your directory
settings.
Then you need to Edit -> Preferences -> Mail & Newsgroup -> Addressing
enable directory server, then choose your newly added directory and I think that's
the entire process in a nutshell.
