ldapadd & ldapsearch

Hi,
  This is how my slapd.conf file looks...

#
# See slapd.conf(5) for details on configuration options.
# This file should NOT be world readable.
#
#include        /usr/local/etc/openldap/slapd.at.conf
#include        /usr/local/etc/openldap/slapd.oc.conf
#schemacheck   on
#referral      ldap://ldap.itd.umich.edu

pidfile        /usr/local/var/slapd.pid
argsfile       /usr/local/var/slapd.args

#######################################################################
# ldbm database definitions
#######################################################################

database       ldbm
suffix         "dc=ilm, dc=com"
suffix         "o=Industrial Light + Magic, c=us"
suffix         "o=ilm, c=us"
directory      /usr/tmp
rootdn         "cn=root, dc=ilm, dc=com"
rootdn         "cn=root, o=Industrial Light + Magic, c=US"
rootdn         "o=ilm, c=us"
rootpw         secret
# cleartext passwords, especially for the rootdn, should
# be avoid. See slapd.conf(5) for details.

and when I try to add the following info using ldapadd I get this error

ldapadd  -w secret
dn: o=<Industrial Light + Magic>, c=US
    o: <ILM>
    objectclass: person
    dn: cn=<Sandeep Casi>, o=<ILM>, c=US
    cn: <sandeep>
    sn: <casi>
    mail: <scasi@ilm.com>
ldapadd: no attributes to change or add (entry o=<Industrial Light +
Magic>, c=US   o: <ILM>   objectclass: person   dn: cn=<Sandeep Casi>,
o=<ILM>, c=US   cn: <sandeep>   sn: <casi>   mail: <scasi@ilm.com>)

But I suceeded in adding to the database using ldif2ldbm

and when I do a search
ldapsearch 'objectsearch=*'
ldap_search: No such object

Any help would be great.
thanks
