I just recently acquired OpenLDAP 1.2, and did the compile/install on a Linux
box (RedHat 5.2); I don't seem to have any problems building slapd or slurpd,
but I can't build ldapd. I've done the ./configure --enable-ldapd=yes, per the
makefile instructions, but it never builds. I had previously given up on LDAP
(never being able to get slapd to work appropriately on my system), and have
since installed an X.500 server (CDC's IntraStore); I'd like to make the X.500
directory available to my clients via LDAP, thus my interest in working with
ldapd.
Any information, flames, comments, etc. etc. would be greatly appreciated.
