Builing ldapd with stable 1.2 and IC 2.2 on Solaris

I've tried various incantations to configure but the build just ignores
the servers/ldapd directory.

To date I've had some limited success with a pre autoconfig openldap .
It detects pepsy, finds -lisode etc

p.s. anyone played with edb2ldif without it core dumping?
