There was mention in 2001 of server-side referrals (chaining) [200005/msg00038]. Has anyone been looking into this since? I am aware that it is not a standard part of LDAP v3, but I have been assigned to implement a chaining mechanism, so I anticipate spending time on this anyway. I thought I should see if there was any pre-existing work available; I believe My Chu was interested in this. Mark.
