 Looks like slapd is linked to the wrong libldap_r, and you need
 to configure with something like

 $ pr=/opt/openldap-RE24
 $ ./configure --prefix=$pr LDFLAGS="-L$pr/lib -Wl,-rpath,$pr/lib"
