The fix in HEAD fixes the writing of the accesslog entry; you need to 
try it with a new search on a fresh database, then a slapcat, then a 
slapadd.  Old databases and LDIFs are corrupted and need to be fixed 
otherwise (e.g. ldapmodify->replace of the reqAttr without the empty 
value, which is invalid per LDAPString syntax.
