While there is no indication that this behavior is due to a bug
in OpenLDAP Software and 2.2 is Historic, there seems this
report should be closed.   If you believe this behavior
due to a bug in OpenLDAP Software, I suggest you duplicate
it in the latest 2.3 release and then file a new bug report
that elaborates on why you believe the behavior is due to a
bug in OpenLDAP Software.
