The test stops after
   Comparing to database "o=Esempio,c=IT"...
when slapd is frozen at the error.

That corresponds to this database in slapd.conf:
  database           relay
  suffix             "o=Esempio,c=IT"
  overlay            rwm
  rwm-suffixmassage  "dc=example,dc=com"
