The schema definition as provided in the manpage comes straight from the 
technical specification, and it is clearly listed as "USAGE 
directoryOperation".

RFC2252 explicitly allows (actually prefers) the "descr" form of OIDs.

There does not appear to be any bug/error in the document nor is the 
text ambiguous. This ITS will be closed.
