I think that's because the real and the virtual naming contexts are on the
same server, and the cross-naming context operations are performed via the
frontend.  Either the test is disabled when compiled --without-threads, or
the virtual naming contexts are moved to different servers.  Teh latter is
cleaner, I'll work at it (as soon a sI can spare some time).
