HEAD passes test000 --without-threads; previously I was merely applying thr_stub.c to 2.3.3beta--obviously more was necessary. HEAD currently fails test022 but I doubt that's related (ITS#3763). I think this #3760 is OK to close, assuming everything gets synced to REL_ENG safely.
