(ITS#3727) impossible to slapadd a 10000 uniquemember group on solaris10 x86 (gcc)

On a fresh install of solaris 10 x86 GA 03/05   and using  /usr/sfw/bin/gcc.
Initial slapadd with a 10.000 uniquemembers Group is impossible (2.2.26 and
Berkeley 4.3)

slapadd  in few seconds  fill all memory available on a server ( more than 1,5
Go).

This behavior doesn't exist  on  a linux box ( during  this phase of inserting
this big group). slapadd doesn't have this problem.

Same problem with  2.2.17 and Berkeley 4.2 on a solaris 10 x86.


Sorry I don't have the Native cc Sun compiler.
