Historic.  You should consider upgrading.
We no longer chase bug reported in 2.1.

However, I see no indication here that a bug here.  Likely
you are simply not performing proper DB recovery procedures.
I suggest you scan the archives of the software list for
prior discussion here.

If you believe that the failure is due to a bug in
OpenLDAP Software, you should reproduce the problem
in the latest release of OpenLDAP and then file a
new bug reports with sufficient information for a
developer to be able to reliably reproduce the
problem.
