patch applied to 2.2.14 (provider and consumer) with an offset of -42
lines (did you want me to try cvs?)

exactly the same result ie garbage entryUUID and missing
creation/modification operational attrs:

Are the garbled/missing attributes supposed to be unique to the consumer
or identical to the provider attrs? Looking at the debug (-d256) on the
provider shows that those op-attrs are not requested.

ps probably irrelevant but the syncrepl1 object on the consumer has
proper looking op-attrs:
